SMALL, IMPORTANT THINGS

Motherhood changed the scale and rhythm of my studio practice.

Working in fragments of time led me toward smaller works, but it also made me braver and bolder, more willing to try unfamiliar materials, follow new ideas, and allow the work to surprise me.

That shift became Txiki: a small, experimental part of my practice and a space for working freely with paper, thread, ink, and light.

The name also nods to my Basque heritage. Txiki is the Basque word for small.
