A monthly correspondence from my studio.

Pink Tower Post grew out of the way my studio practice has changed over the past few years. I began working smaller, making collages, linocuts, cyanotypes, prints, and other things I could work on slowly, pick up, and put down. Somewhere along the way, I came to love working at this scale.

Each month, I’ll send a small pairing of work from whatever I’m making or thinking about in the studio. It might be hand-printed, photographic, cut and assembled, or something I haven’t tried yet. The work will change because the studio does.

You’ll also receive a Game: a simple studio prompt for making, looking, cutting, arranging, drawing, or getting unstuck. I started thinking of prompts as games after taking a collage workshop where they were called exactly that. I loved the idea. A game gives you a few rules, but what happens inside them is up to you.

I think of this as part correspondence and part small-scale patronage. Your subscription supports the ongoing work of my studio, and in return, I get to send a little of what is happening here out into the world.
